Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of a British father and an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. When she was a kid, she played in commercials for a number of companies. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career, eventually making the move into Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009 when they were married. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and the couple renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding in Fredericton.
