Sheryl is an American actor, comedian and TV host, and most famous for hosting the popular daytime chat show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and raised in Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She spent the majority of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. While she was growing older she had numerous arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl claimed that at one point her mother had stabbed an uncle of her daughter as she was getting closer to her. Following her college graduation Sheryl joined the military. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She became the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. In addition, she has a fictional role in popular shows such as Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
