Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and TV personality popular as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a family that has had many issues. Sheryl was raised by her sibling Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. When she was a child, she had an uneasy relationship with her mother. Sheryl claims that once she cut her father's hair because he got too close. Sheryl was a soldier soon after she graduated her college. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was chosen as the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. She started her TV career after becoming regularly performing at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has a fictional role in shows like Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
